In The Black Box

THIS IS THE NIGHT TIME, MY TIME OF UTTER CONFUSION AND CLARITY

To step outside is nothing new.. just haven’t bothered in a while. Time to destroy the cobwebs and dive into the belly of the beast. Snakes rip though the solid earth and leave me face to face with all the echoes the world has to offer. I was tempted by everything and anything. As time would slowly hide the light from the world I fumbled my way through the many noises. I came out with Alela Diane’s “The Pirate’s Gospel” and Wes Montgomery’s “Bumpin’ On Sunset”… the former warming my ears all evening as i struggle with what is best and what is best left alone…

Im starting to think things should be left alone…

The night served up a sky of memories.. old fascinations dormant in my core dug their way to the surface.. i cannot help but feel they will rise within the vibrations sooner or later.

Benjamin Button grows young before me and empty Blondes mumble bullshit about popcorn…

…and the snake gobbled me up and spat me back out in front of this screen of light…
